Thinking of Matlock over Christmas/New Year - dog friendly?

just that really … looking to book over new year and will be in between Matlock and M Bath. Taking pooch with us and know of course with it being that time of year we’d need to call places we may visit to see if they will be open at all but …

We’re wondering from those posters who may be residents or have visited, on the whole how dog friendly is it? As in cafes, pubs etc.

We’ve been a few times with our DDog and never had a problem at all. The Peak District is pretty used to people bringing along their DDogs usually

Thanks! That’s good to hear … we went to Ashbourne on August and we are also off to Belper next month so definitely finding the PD is a good fit now have the pooch 😄
