Kids back to school I’m ok with, but on the same day as settling in sleepover at the kennels 😭😭??

Hi all,

One and only human baby starts year 11 tomorrow and I’m a bit emotional about that!

BUT! My two gorgeous labs are off to their ‘settling in sleepover’ tomorrow at the kennels ahead of a family holiday at the end of the month.

Neither have been to kennels before, both will be in together so that’s something, but my boy is a rescue and my girl is so attached to me (I work from home) and I’m so sad they will think I’m not coming back for them 😭

please reassure me they will be totally fine!

I get you. They will have a great time and make loads of new pals (like their human counterpart).

Thank you, I just keep looking at my boy and constantly telling him how much I love and want him lol DH think he will just enjoy the chance to ‘chat’ with other dogs 🙄🤣
