So worried about my girl....

I just need to vent about my poorly staffie girl. This is the most poorly she's been in the five years that I've had her. She's drinking a crazy amount of water, filling her bladder so full that she can't contain it, there's blood in her pee, and the vet hasn't been able to determine what's wrong from the blood tests she's had. Liver markers are up, but not high enough to indicate infection. Inflammatory markers weren't found in the urine so less likely to be an infection there. She's having a scan tomorrow morning so they can take a look and try to work out what's going on with her.
I'm worried sick. She's ok in herself at the moment - still happy and wanting food and a little walk- so I know I need to take some reassurance from that. It's just horrible not knowing and seeing her show no signs of improvement from the antibiotics she's been taking.

She's 9 now and the insurance policy (Animal Friends) sucks. Everything is so expensive - she's absolutely worth it, but it's an extra worry on top of everything else..

She's such a beautiful girl. The timing is awful as the kids are going away with their dad and I'm supposed to be going away tomorrow as well.

Ok, vent over. Thank you for reading if you got this far xx

It is such a worry when our dogs are poorly Flowers

I hope the scan today gives you some answers and she can get on the right treatment to get her feeling better.

Fingers crossed

I can understand how worried you must be. I hope the vets find out what's wrong and that it's something easily treatable. 🤞
