...by my dog!

Talk about attention grabbing!

I threw it back but she'd burrowed into the others.

I don’t know what happened, but it was your fault. I’m sure.

That looks like an innocent dog to me 🤷‍♀️.

DarkForces · 29/07/2025 19:25

Definitely not guilty. You must have a poltergeist. What a gorgeous pup!

DinoLil · 29/07/2025 19:29

It's always my fault!

Turning my back and scrolling MN is obviously unacceptable.

And we've just spent 2hrs in the front garden yapping with nine neighbours, much trifle and cake, many a dog biscuit and ear tickle. Come indoors, I pick up my phone and she throws a cushion at my head.

How very dare she!

But it could be a poltergeist.

Or the turtle. He's looking fed up!

My dog said you asked for it

DinoLil · 29/07/2025 21:35

Well, she has has made a nest out of said cushions now and is snoozing on top of them. She just needs a crown, now.

I shall humbly crawl out of my lounge, backwards, on my knees, and return bowed over with an offering of some cheese, pate and some crackers.

Indeed I had it coming, indeed.

I'm just glad it was a cushion she threw at me and not the TV remote. She has a remarkable aim.

Be thankful she could only throw a cushion ... muy old dog used to fling a knotted rope toy at me if he wanted to play!
I hope you got the hint though, before she moves on to firmer stuff!

evtheria · 30/07/2025 10:30

And how are you going to apologise to her, OP? The poor, little angel…

DinoLil · 30/07/2025 22:32

@YlvamoonShe is far too posh to lower herself to toy playing. No balls, rope toys, squishing, nothing. Just looks of utter distain. She's 9yrs, I've had her since September, she just tells me what to do - time to get up, breakfast, walks, teatime (don't even start on teatime...).

@evtheria I have provided snacks on silver platters, put the YT dog TV channel on whilst I was washing her bed and I keep curtsying...

Sounds reasonable… I hope she can find it within herself to move past this 😉
