Please help me name my new puppy

We are collecting our new puppy soon, but cannot agree on a name. The puppy will belong to DH and I, but we also have DS (22) at home and DD (28) and DD(26) who don't live with us but have opinions too!

I prefer human names on dogs but really ridiculous ones. Like an old friend had a very noble, proud looking husky named Gary and I recently met an Alsatian named Steve and a terrier cross of some sort who was Nigel.

I also got chatting to a random woman in the park recently and her staffy was called Edna. So I'd go for something along those lines personally! Mabel? Gladys? Martha? I do like your DS's suggestion of Frankie too! Although that's one of my favourite names so not ridiculous enough for me! My friend has a little Mary and a Susan both of which could work too 😊

I was brought up with a Boxer brother - best dogs ever! He was called Butch!

I like names that seem a bit incongruous to the dog - Boxers are quirky, funny animals so something like Cynthia.
