So DDog (nearly 2yrs) was very restless last night, uncharacteristically so and I went through all the usual things - fan on, cool mat, plenty water available, didn't seem to be in pain (this was between around midnight and 01.30am btw) but he was barking alot and wouldn't settle. Took him out to the garden 3 times on the lead (to stop him from barking and waking the entire neighbourhood) and on the last time he wee'd.
Went back in, seemed to settle. All good. Til this morning when I went downstairs (he sleeps with me) and there was poo on the rug FFS.
Mainly small solid but some last 'squidgy bits (sorry) that I've tried to get up but I need it to be clean! I've used some Dr Beckman carpet stuff which brought up some of it but (and to make matters worse) I'm sure I'll have missed bits because of the pile and the colours of the rug.
What else can I do? He is fine today. Hot and bothered but fine. Unlike me!
