Dog not had a bowel movement for 2 days

Help, I am dog sitting and the dog hasn’t done a poo since being here. She has stayed with me before and has been fine so I don’t think it’s because she’s home sick. She is on raw food diet (recently been moved over to raw) and I understand raw fed means they don’t go as often but her owner said she usually goes once a day.

I have her a bit of sweet potato with her dinner in hope that would help but so far nothing 🤔. She’s perfectly fine in herself, just had zoomies in the field and is now sleeping on the sofa. She’s due to go home later tomorrow, I’m preying she poops before then. If there anything else I can try?

It’s possible she has done it on the sly, hence no discomfort. Tomorrow she stays on the lead at all times until you see her dedecate.

I have kept a close eye on her, she’s very loyal and rarely leaves my side even when off lead. I’m pretty sure she hasn’t been.

If she’s not unwell otherwise and isn’t trying to go unsuccessfully - I wouldn’t stress tbh

She seems fine, has had her breakfast but still not been. I will walk her soon and hopefully she will poop. She’s being collected later today.

Sweet potato would produce the opposite problem, it’s known to stop diarrhoea.
If she’s happy I wouldn’t worry too much at the moment, just mention it to her owner.

I would say its either a sly pooh or sometimes the change of circumstances ie owners away etc might have just tipped the balance. i am sure that when all goes back to normal she will be fine
