Puppy heart murmur insurance

Hi,

Has anyone been able to take out pet insurance for a puppy with a heart murmur?

We were recently meant to bring her home but her 8 week check picked up a very slight murmur. We are worried about taking her and incurring potentially expensive vet bills but we have fallen in love with her.

ManyPets will insure with pre-existing conditions but won't pay out until three years (I think) have elapsed since the last test/consultation/advice from your vet. So if your puppy doesn't require veterinary attention for three years for the murmur you should be OK. Best thing is ring and have the conversation.
