I am dog sitting my friends 12 year old cockerpoo, very spaniel in temperament and very possessive/resource guarding in behaviour. At mealtimes we sit at the kitchen table and it will sit underneath, and then start growling and bumping its bottom against my leg repeatedly. What is this about? Is it normal dog behaviour?
