Red lump on dogs paw

Does anyone know what this could be?

It looks like a tick.

I thought that.. how will I know for sure though! I don’t want to try and remove it if it’s not actually a tick

Yep, looks like a tick. My vet removes them for like a fiver, so if you're too nervous of removing it yourself, maybe you could take him to the vet.

Tick removal tool - pop it at the point closest to the skin and twist, it'll soon become clear if it's a tick or not! Otherwise, a vet can do it.
