Can you guys just tell me what you pay for a week or 8 days of kennels for 2 medium sized dogs?
Spring/summer time if that makes a difference

No idea but if it helps o pay £49 per 24 hours for home boarding for one dog

Meceme · 12/09/2024 18:50

£25 per night for one large dog. Minimum 4 night booking during the summer.
We looked at lots of kennels and they really vary in price and standard ( not always linked).

MissyB1 · 12/09/2024 18:54

My dog boards at her doggy daycare place which is run by a lovely couple in their own home. I pay £36 per 24 hours.

Dearg · 12/09/2024 19:39

£40 per day for 2 sharing , any size. So £320 for 8 days. Very clean ‘rooms’ with outdoor runs, underfloor heating in cooler months. Outside exercise areas.

Kelly51 · 12/09/2024 19:41

I pay £30 per 24hrs home boarding and it's only one booking at a time, so dogs are extremely well cared for, so glad to have found her.

TortillasAndSalsa · 12/09/2024 19:48

I'm 200 for 5 days for 2x German shepherds

ThereIsIron · 12/09/2024 20:17

We paid £35 for 3 nights for one dog

cantdecidewhichisworst · 12/09/2024 20:19

Doggy home daycare once a week and she stays there when we go on holiday £30 overnight.

DiscoBeat · 12/09/2024 20:25

Not kennels but doggy day care which also does overnights/holidays. We pay £39 per day for overnights.

TooTiredToType77 · 12/09/2024 20:33

This is depressing...we pay £50 per night for our doggy daycare person to have our single dog in his house...but our dog loves him and literally runs to the van when he goes to daycare once a week...but blimey it was £750 for our 2 weeks away in the summer

theboywantstogoupthefield · 12/09/2024 20:34

At our kennels that would be around 250 for the week.

That's crazy

redtrain123 · 12/09/2024 20:39

Last year paid £35 per night for home boarding.

This year, gave someone at our house and paying £40 per night.

ihaveanaughtydog · 12/09/2024 20:45

I pay £18/night for my dog at kennels. Lovely place on a farm with a huge field to run around in.

StartingANewNameToday · 12/09/2024 20:48

We pay £30 per night for home boarding. Our local kennels would have been half that but I really dislike a kennel environment.

cryinglaughing · 12/09/2024 20:49

I charge £30.75 for 2 medium dogs sharing.
4 walks a day and a lunch play.
Centrally heated sleeping room and access to a covered run from 6am to 8pm.

StillSmallVoice · 12/09/2024 21:09

Eek!!! I pay £18 a night. But he's a greyhound and he goes back to the rehoming centre he came from. They look after all sorts of doggies, but their boys and girls are special, and ours is always happy to go there.

hattie43 · 12/09/2024 21:21

I pay £35 per night for two small dogs in their walkers house . . I'm very lucky as everywhere else local would be a lot more .

Onedaynotyet · 12/09/2024 21:25

£45 per night (but 24 hrs counts as 2 days) single, £70 for 2 dogs, bring own food etc. Lovely place. Booking up for next summer now.

Newlittlerescue · 12/09/2024 21:33

£25 a night but they don't give a discount for two dogs sharing, so that would be £50 a night in your scenario.

sparklystar333 · 12/09/2024 21:49

Luxury kennels, £42 for the first dog and £20 for an additional dog sharing per 24 hours.

Hairyhat · 12/09/2024 21:51

Thank you everyone. Very varied replies.

We paid £36 per 24 hours which was in their home.

Ixon · 12/09/2024 23:01

£25 per night for two dogs and a few cats. But we have a big rural house with a pool/hot tub etc so finding someone to stay usually isn't a problem

sunsetsandboardwalks · 13/09/2024 07:04

Our local kennel charges £27 for per 24 hours for two dogs sharing.
