HELP Visiting dog is scent-marking my house

We are looking after our friend's dog for a week. He's a one-year old unsterilised cockapoo. Since arriving at noon he's scent-marked the walls and furniture three times. I'm really distressed about this :(

He's visited before for a few hours and although he barked quite a bit at first he calmed down after a couple of hours. He didn't scent-mark on that occasion. He's really used to spending time with our female sterilised cockapoo, though usually at his house or at the park.

Please please, what can I do?

Sounds like he is anxious about being away from his family. Do you have his bed or anything that smells of his home? If not can you access that? A blanket,, something that smells of your friend?
Other than that look at calming supplements - adaptil, Nutracalm, even rescue remedy.
Also, make sure he has his own safe space, away from your bitch and any dc.

Poor thing is just confused.

He sounds really anxious, bless him.

Has he stayed with you for long periods without his owners before?
