Dog was worried because I had a nightmare

Had a proper full on nightmare in the night, unusual for me to have one and it was really vivid, I was calling out. DH said the dog, who sleeps on our bed, was really worried and trying to wake me up and then when I'd settled back wouldn't leave my side of the bed.

I'm so touched - as she's definitely DH's dog more than mine...

Or she could have just been worried I'd disturb him again I suppose!

Has your dog ever done this?

Oh bless her. Sounds like she was worried about you.

I rather suspect, under the same circumstances, my dog would get off the bed with an irritated sigh and go and sleep on the floor😆

Not quite the same, but I was sleeping in the spare room, with my dog, after having my tonsils out. I was making some strange noises apparently , and after a rather loud one, my dog ran through to wake my DH.
I came to with the two of them peering at me in a rather concerned manner . 🥹
