Collapsed and can't get a vet

Hi,

Wonder if anyone can advise or hand hold. My 16 year old dog has collapsed and is panting and whining if I try to lift him.

I have tried to get an emergency vet here but I live rural and no-one can come.

It looks like a stroke but he is very old so hard to know.

He won't recover, he has been declining for months.

How can I help him? Anyone know what I should do?

So sorry for your loss. I looked your post up again to see if you had been able to get him there, and am glad you were able to x
