Dog Friendly Beaches in Summer

Morning!
I am trying to organise our summer holiday which will be UK based this year, and will need to be dog and child friendly.
The kids and the dog love a beach, but obviously lots of beaches in the summer and no-go for a dog.
So I’d love some recommendations so I can narrow the search. Picture of demon puppy who loves to dig

and I love your dog.

he's gorgeous. Northumberland has amazing dog friendly miles of beaches. As does the Isle of Man. Round Morecambe way and Lake District. Lake District is extraordinarily dog friendly (keep on lead round livestock).

Camber Sands. Hideously busy dog friendly at the end towards Rye.

I’m on the Isle of Wight. All our main tourist beaches have areas that dogs can go on all year round, and some non-touristy ones that don’t have restrictions at all.

Loads of dog friendly accommodation and pubs/restaurants

I live on the Gower Peninsula if you want to come here -

Dogs ARE allowed on the following beaches at all times of the year:
• Swansea Bay from the slip opposite Victoria Park to the beach access at Sketty Lane
• Horton from the lifeguard station east towards Oxwich
• Mumbles
• Pwll Du
• Pobbles
• Three Cliffs
• Tor Bay
• Crawley
• Oxwich
• Mewslade
• Rhossili
• Llangennith
• Broughton
• Whiteford Sands
• Port Eynon from the main steps west to the Salt House

Southbourne in Bournemouth is off lead all year and the area is very dog friendly.

You’re all brilliant thank you

@PaddingtonsHat obviously don’t know if you are local but Camber Sands , which has been recommended on here, whilst being lovely for dogs is not a beach I would take children to if they want to go in the sea as it has dangerous rip tides

I wouldn't recommend them for holidays but for day trips for those in the North West of England - the Sefton coast, including Formby, has miles and miles of dog-friendly beaches (plus dunes and woodland paths behind them).

St Anne's, the beach to the north of the pier.
