Chances of a bitch conceiving

Just that really - cocker spaniel - if everything is done "properly" (not a casual bunk up!" What's the chance of the bitch conceiving in percentage terms? Trying to decide between two sets of puppies yet to be conceived! Thx x

By 'done properly' do you mean insemination? If so, the information can be found via a quick google.

But, you should prioritise the health of the puppies if you're thinking of buying one rather than which one is ready first (which I assuming is why you are asking the question?).

It's not a muffin - it's a living breathing creature and you should wait for the healthiest litter, not the one that's ready first.

I don't know what process will be used for the bitch, but I do know the difference between a muffin and a puppy having owned a dog for 13 years!

I also know both owners very well - and I know the pups will be very well looked after and all checks etc so I don't have to worry about that.

Depends on many factors, health, lineage, temperament but then as you've owned a dog surely you know all this? I also know my MIL and her KC friends very well but I can guarantee buyers if their pups haven't a clue what they're getting.
