Poodles... Me again!

Hello! After never posting in this doggy bit before this is my third in as many days - have read through other threads and found so much helpful stuff.

So after much thought and dog visits etc we're set to welcome a miniature poodle puppy into our home! Any top tips? Book recommendations? Socialisation tips? Training advice? All very gratefully received !

Welcome to the mini club! I have 2 and they are my absolute babies.

As when you have a child, people will give strong advice and everyone contradicts each other, so just trust your gut.

My only advice is to start leaving the pup home alone for tiny amounts from day one, we waited til 6 months which was a massive mistake as he then developed awful separation anxiety. If I could go back and do it from the early days, I would.
