Tips please for combing my 9 week old miniature poodle

Just that please. I have a metal comb and she absolutely hates me combing her - growls, struggles, bites me! Does it get easier - feeling a bit of a failure at the moment! 😥

Thank you for all your helpful comments. I've calmed down now and am feeling much better about things. I bought Cowmagic detangler and that seems to help. Can I ask now, those of you who groom your own poodles can you share with me what equipment you use and what length you use the clippers on etc? X
