Chew toy for a gentle dog - shih tzu

I want to get some sort of chew toy for my dog but he's so gentle and soppy he just licks things! Any suggestions?
He's a happy and content boy but I just thought he might like something different to do!

Oh hello, he is a cutie, my Shih Tzu loves the tug-e-nuff rabbit tug toys, his favourite things to chew on are empty small pop bottles coke/sprite and he loves a yak chew and the small squeaky tennis balls.
