About to order our first bag of Millies wolfheart but finding myself lost looking at the website.
Have a 7 month old Weimaraner who's currently on tails, really not happy with it. Particularly as it's not the cheapest and really doesn't suit our dog.
So having done a bit of research and taking recommendations from here, we've settled on millies wolfheart.
But I have no idea what mix to order.
So would be extremely grateful to hear your experiences

Speak to/email them, they're very helpful.

I think they wanted to know breed, current weight and age, expected adult weight, any intolerances and if currently under or overweight.

(We fed it from 4-11 months but don't feed it anymore as fussy pup stopped eating it.)

I agree with tiz - they're very helpful and when I used them in the past, they gave me several options to choose from. I thought they would have just suggested the most expensive one, so I was pleasantly surprised! They'll definitely recommend that you buy a small bag first to make sure your pup likes it.

Brilliant, thank you 💐

I feed it - the 70/30 range and find it very good.

I spoke to them before hand and they recommended me with what to try as my dog was under a year (she's just turned a year old).

So I'd contact them. I emailed and got a reply the same day.

I'm most disappointed they don't sell moist hearties anymore. They were great.

I have mine on the 70/30 countryside mix, my lurchers do great on it but my spaniel can come up a bit skinny on it if she's exercising alot, but great fur and poops from it. I used to feed a lower quality less protein food and was worried they'd be a bit mental on the higher protein, but they seem more calm and level when at rest which surprised me.

Mine is a little bit skinny (she is a border terrier) but very active and her poo and coat look great so I am going to stick with it for a while. She is being spayed after her next season so may gain then. If not I may look to change her. She is on Countryside at the moment but has had Turkey and veg.

It doesn't hurt them to be a bit skinny as long as they are not hungry (she isn't as she often leave a bit here and there).

Same! That and the 10k bags which used to last my dog almost 3 months. Now I am having to buy monthly.

But to your original question @drivinmecrazy I would contact them. They really are helpful. My cocker spaniel is on the countryside mix, has been for years, and still loves it. You can buy small bags of each type to see what your dog likes

Their contact for dog food help
They will ask for this info (take from the link above)
Please have as much information as possible available for our team, we will need to know the dogs weight, age, breed, how much daily exercise and if your dog has any allergies or medical conditions.

Me too.

My dog would do anything for them.

I agree, contact them. They were very helpful when I asked for my lab.
