Dog friendly stop on M1 for Boxing Day

Hi all, looking for some help with a journey we're doing Boxing Day. Need somewhere dog and child friendly that we can stop off at to let dog stretch his legs around the southern end of M1. Have checked driving with dogs website but is just throwing up loads of pubs which isn't going to work on Boxing Day... does anyone know of anywhere? We wouldn't want to veer too far from the motorway - could be just a woods/park but somewhere nice/calm, not with load motorway traffic racing past to give the dog a proper break. TIA for any ideas!

You have to pay to get premium access, but if you travel with dogs it's a godsend and not expensive. Otherwise you can just use the free part.

I did the M1 search for you. https://www.drivingwithdogs.co.uk/browse/walks?road=1

PS - There are loads on there that aren't pubs!

Maybe too far but Ivanhoe Beacon
Aldenham Country Park
Icknield Way Path at Upper Sundon

Dunstable Downs (about J10 of the M1) would be a lovely place for a Boxing Day dog walk.
