I need to update the details on my cat and two dogs. We’ve moved house.

However, it’s £10 per animal to change the details once, or £20 per animal to change the details as many times as you want if you go premium.

I thought I would have to pay one premium for the whole account but nope it’s £20 per animal!

Can’t afford that. Especially since we are moving again in 3 months, so no point in doing a £10 change, in order to change it again in 3 months.

So for now, I’ve upgraded the cats to a premium. She’s more at risk of getting out.

Then next month, I’ll do one of the dogs, and the month after that I’ll do the other dog.

They sort of have me over a barrel really

Is it possible to change the company your chip is registered with? Identibase charge to change owner name but not address

Not sure. Don’t think so though

Did you not choose premium when you first registered them? I have paid the £20 one off payment (although it was £15 many years ago for my cats) for my pets as the peace of mind it brings it priceless.

I paid for Premium when I registered. I use the change of address every time I go on holiday as well as when we moved. Did the same with second dog and Chipworks.
