How much would you pay?

For home boarding your dog, per day, at a large country house with a big secure dog run, with no people or other dogs around, has human company 24/7, with no other dogs boarded at the same time?

And how far would you travel for drop off and collection?

The home boarder is licensed and fully insured with 15 years' animal experience and pet first aid qualified.

I’ve just paid £25 per night for home boarders. He slept in crate in owners house, had free run of garden, and was taken to secure dog field for run around. There were other dogs there.

Therefore, for exclusive care, I would pay at least double, so £50 per night.

Actually, sounds a lovely place. Can I go?!

I would probably travel 1-1/2 hours at most. Otherwise, it’s a long round trip.

Just realised, you’re setting the business up. Send me the details!!!

We've used a boarder who only has dogs from one household at a time and none of her own. For one dog she charges 25 a night.

I wouldn't personally travel far though just because of trial nights and the like. I also wouldn't consider somewhere who didn't offer off lead walks if appropriate.

£25 per night. That's what the going rate here is for a good quality home (not kennel).

We have 4 dogs and would 100% take this offer up! We are off on a ski trip and I'm currently having to split them up across some amazing friends.

But if this was about 2 hours away I'd book in a heartbeat.

Sounds idyllic. Send me details please. I would pay quite a bit for this.
