I am used to biddable non-terriers. Please tell me about your fox terrier!

NDN in France had two ‘fox’. Both very kind, quiet and well behaved dogs. The younger was the sweetest dog I have ever known.
They did like to chase the hens, though.

We did actually rehome him at one point, they turned up with him two weeks later at 11pm at night and have him back because he’d bitten her husband.
He bit both my older children before we put him to sleep. There are very few rescues that take a biter, especially back then.

My friend has a Lakeland terrier cross who is a great dog but has insane amounts of energy, similar to a collie I think.

I have a jrt cross yorkie and he is a good dog, very bright, loves to play, settled at home but will walk miles away. We do agility with him and he's won a few competitions.

He is not keen on other dogs though which is a pain, he has a few dogs he likes but the vast majority he seems to resent having to share the world with 😂

I personally love terriers, I grew up with yorkies and jacks, they are loyal companions and have big dog attitudes in a small package.
