He’s a wee Dachshund. He often has a nutty half hour in the evening but we do scent games or fill a kong toy and he settles down.
He hasn’t been walked today which is very unusual but he HATES the rain so I let him stay in. I have spent lots of time with him, we did some training, I made him a tea towel treat wrap. Just generally occupying him but not overly so. He has slept a normal amount too.
I think he needs to poo but WILL NOT go out. I put him on the lead and took
him outside but he just whined and trembled. I keep
opening the back door for him but the merest gust of wind sends him
under the kitchen table. He doesn’t want to play but he’s charging up and down.
I’ve turned the lights down, put some gentle music on but he just won’t settle.
Any tips?! (He’s 2 and is fine with fireworks etc. just wind and rain he hates).
