My dog suddenly died today

My dog suddenly died today she was only two years old, I let her out for a wee and she goes in her cage. I went back in to the kitchen and she was dead in her bed. No warnings or nothing, I'm absolutely heartbroken 💔 she was a chi x jack Russell

This comes on top of my brother Very poorly in hospital with bad COPD because we got called in last week.we didn't think he was going to make it but fast forward a week he's home and much better.also my DD lost her baby at 18 weeks, baby wasn't compatible with life he was a little boy. So that's three all in a row .💔😭👼💙

so sorry, she looks gorgeous, still cry often over my lovely girl who died at Christmas. You gave her love and a good life.....all anyone wants or needs

I feel your pain. We lost two of our dogs last year, both from pancreatitis. It was a terrible shock with both and we still haven't got over it.

Oh OP, it would have been very wise to find cause of death. So then you could have told breeder.
Plus the cause of death may have identified something that could be avoided with any future dog

@mumof31968 I'm so sorry. She was such a beautiful little dog. I know her passing will have left such a huge hole in your life and such a shock at a young age, I can't imagine.

I have no advice other than to take care of yourself as she would want you to and comfort yourself in the knowledge that she had a great life and I do believe your connection will last beyond her death. Best wishes to you.

Presumably you investigated the cause of death? Presumably you took to vet so they could determine?

dogs very rarely just plop down and die at 2 years old
