Dog pissed on new carpet

As the theead title suggests my dog has pissed on my brand new carpet. I blotted it up and have poured that simple enzyme stuff on it but it has dried with the stain still visible (light yellow colour). Carpet is 100% wool. I thought the enzyme stuff was meant to work..... any bright ideas anyone other than rehoming the dog (joking - just).

I've still got that yellow mark on my wool carpet from an old dog since PTS. I think it's bleached it out. Ask at the carpet shop.

Are you sure it's a stain and not the ammonia in the wee having bleached the carpet?

Did you blot up the dog wee before you used the enzyme stuff?

I would get quotes for professional carpet cleaning. If it's really expensive it might be worth going through your insurance for accidental damage.

Have you tried one of those vax carpet washers? We used to have one for an incontinent elderly relative who wouldn't countenance the idea of anything other than carpet in the bedroom.

Oh no! Is your dog young and likely to do it again? The enzyme cleaner is more to remove the odour than be brilliant at stain removal I thought..
when our pup was little we put down a massive black tarpaulin on the floor. It was there from October until Christmas Eve! Getting rid of it was my best Christmas present 😂😂 but it did save the flooring

Beckmans pet carpet cleaner is absolutely amazing. It's simple to use, leaves no smell or stains. It's only a few pounds from home bargains. Promise I don't work for them or have anything to do with them. I do however have cream carpets and a dog who likes to piss on them sometimes.

Just remembered that dd spilt hot chocolate on our cream carpet and I've gotten tan/make up on it and this carpet cleaners got it all out. My carpet looks like it did the day it was put down.

Soak it in white vinegar then get a professional cleaner in.
