What breed is this little dog?

I tried Google images with not much luck. Any guesses?

It's def not a full schnauzer. Full Schnauzers don't have any brown in their fur unless they're mixed. Also that face is def mixed with another breed. I do agree there's Schnauzer in there though. Prob half at least

Some kind of mix I think. It looks like a wheaten terrier as someone else said, but too small to be pure bred I would have thought.

Thank you! He's not mine. He was on the local FB page as he went missing and I've been following with interest and got very curious as to what breed he might have been. I really love the look but was wondering about temperament etc.

If you’re wondering about temperament, our mini schnauzer is a star. Patient, playful but biddable and loves the family. Never happier than in the car, where we’re all in a confined space!
Downsides are he’s an anxious type, so unexpected noises, boisterous children and leaps of faith are not his thing. We’re working on that…

No, basically I saved the pictures as I didn't want to be insensitive and ask what breed while he was missing. Then I saw an update that he had been found. But when I went to look again to ask about the breed, I could no longer find the post!
