Relentless pulling on the lead

I have not long taken in a 2 year old lab.

She is a nightmare on the lead, constant pulling for the entire walk. I stop whenever there's tension on the lead and reward when it's loose but I have seen no improvement at all.

It is actually hurting me to walk her, she is so strong and pulling me all over the place.

Does anyone have any tips please? I so desperately want to be able to enjoy walks together.

This might be a dead thread but thought I’d come on in case. Adopted dog,pulled like a train with Julius K9 harness that came with her. We were working on not pulling,treats when she looked up at me and was walking nicely. We were doing OK but wasn’t working consistently as she’s not hugely good orientated. Got her a Woofles Endurance harness. Walking her is now bliss,zero pulling,even towards other dogs and she seems happier as it’s so much lighter. I could cry( I know!) it’s made such a difference.
