Holiday cottages with crates included

Does anyone know of holiday cottages that provide crates (large/extra large)? They are always tricky to pack up and it would make travelling much easier.

Thanks.

A lot of the properties let through East Ruston cottages have crates available

I was coming on to say East Ruston, they can provide crates of any size at all properties as well as dog buggies and just about everything else. We stayed at two of their properties last year and it was brilliant to be somewhere really dog friendly

Thanks @CMOTDibbler I think we'll take a look at those in the summer. Would be nice to have something nearer to home for the odd weekend when packing crates are a pain.

Have you thought about travel crate? Ours packs super flat and takes up hardly any space
Cheapy off Amazon x

dog friendly

Look on Airbnb for dog friendly accommodation, I offer 3 crate sizes to suit.

It's in the owners interests to have secure spaces for their dog guests.

Whalesborough in Cornwall. Near Bude.

Carrgura Farms in Cornwall. We went last summer and it was fab.

Genuine question, why do dog owners call them crates not cages?

That would be a tasty snack for one of ours!

Thanks for all the great suggestions.

Dogs like a den and to feel secure, so it's not that they feel 'caged'.

Because, when trained to use them properly, dogs see them as their safe space and go in there of their own free will, happily.

The only people who call them cages are people who think crate-training a dog is akin to animal abuse.

Our crate is a metal collapsible one, and takes up a minimal amount of space. It still nice a secure. What sort of dog do you have op?
