Hello!

I'm looking for any advice on "good" pet insurance companies... specifically if anyone has used Now Pet Insurance?

Thanks!

I’m with pet plan and it’s come highly recommended by several people including a vet practice manager who’s a friend.

I was just about to post something similar. What companies are good or should be avoided? How much cover should you insure for?

We use many pets. Very good but quite expensive imo though we do have the top level of cover.
Have a relative who had to claim ££££ and they were great, no quibbles and very straightforward. I've used their 1st vet video call service and found it very good.

We use Many Pets and have the top level of cover (£15k, I think).

We have pet plan and ddog gas recurring issues. They always paid out and our vet deals with all the paperwork.

Also looking for recommendations please!

I moved from Waggel who were excellent and paid out two claims very quickly to Many Pets simply because I wanted higher cover.
I think Many Pets were really good when they were called Bought By Many but they are truly awful now. Just look at reviews on Trust Pilot. I have been waiting for a claim to be settled for 2 months. It was an accident so I would have thought very straightforward (no existing conditions etc). When it comes to renewal I will definitely change. I think Pet Plan are the gold standard and most vets will work with them directly so you aren't out of pocket. Pricey though.

I use Animal Friends for my dog and previous dogs. Many Pets for the cat. I have claimed multiple times with AF on a lifetime policy with no problems at all. In the process of claiming for treatment the cat had so not sure if that process is going to be as smooth.
