I've got these. You get 3 sizes for different size ticks.

The O’Tom tick twister is the best we’ve had. Gets them off pretty much every time

Last time I used a pastry fork, works just as well as the tick removers.
Most people would probably prefer to use a tick remover.

I've always used tweezers which I grab the tick with and twist and yank out. I've always got the whole thing in one go.
