This is my beautiful boy, he's one now and we've had him for 10 months.
We all love him so much, even my dog hating husband, he fusses him more than anyone!
Such a loving and calm boy, we are so lucky.

This chap had a lovely life racing and has had an equally good time in retirement.

This is our old girl who died 8 years ago at the grand age of 16. We rescued her at 18mo and we were her 3rd home. She was the best dog ever and I never understood why she'd been given up twice.
She was a sheltie cross but never worked out the other breed, we thought gsd, bc or lab

This is the new boy. Almost 11mo and the worst pup ever 🙈

won't sleep, severe fomo so he won't stay by himself ever, barks at every tiny noise, doesn't like hugs or strokes, eats stones/fabric/plastic,

but also has never chewed furniture, doesn't counter surf, loves everyone and everything, is loads of fun, has a cheeky cheerful personality, and is so clever.

Once he matures he's going to be brilliant. however I'm going to ask the vet to check him over and maybe do a pain trial to see if that helps with the barking and not wanting to be touched.

He's allergic to chicken and suffers with gut problems which really effects his behaviour (if he doesn't eat breakfast and acts up all day I know his stools will be loose).

Also planning to do scent work and agility when he's older

I did lots of research. Then found a lovely local breeder who let me go and play with their poodles to see how I was affected.

When we did get a puppy from her later on, she always said that if I developed allergies to him, I could take him back to her and she would keep him anyway (they were her last littler and she sort of was regretting letting them all go so absolutely meant this). She rang me about a year after too just to check all was good.

I think it's just down to the individual.

So many beautiful, beautiful dogs. I used to coo over babies, now I coo over dogs, I know all the dogs names in the park but not their owners!

How can that be 'sensitive content?' That's the cutest pic on the thread! (Well apart from the picture of my Maggie of course but I'm biased!!!)
