It was a small ball that had fallen on the floor but was covered in chicken fat. I can't tell whether he's eaten it or not.

It was slightly bigger than a marble. Do you think it will pass through?

Cockers are dreadful for this

Ours ate a whole slab of dark chocolate (with foil wrapping) out of someone's bag (don't ask) and had to be rushed to the vet. Luckily we got there quickly and they got him to bring up the whole lot.

I think that tiny amount of foil should be fine but always call the vet if you're worried.

Ours also knows when we are watching and when we aren't!

I'm glad it's not just mine.

Our downstairs is open plan, so there's no way of keeping him out of the kitchen.

This piece I think he scavenged out of the bin which I was about to empty.

He seems fine. Full of beans and eaten his breakfast.

Am now going to take him for a walk and maybe assess the poo situation

Ok. He's had a big poo. There were specks of black bits in it which I figure might be foil?

Can I assume he's in the clear? It's been 20 hours.
