DM just being so kind when I had to have dog PTS

I’m in pieces here, DM just phoned to say she transferred £200 into my account towards vet fees for our little dog who had a short stay at the vets and had to be PTS last week.
She doesn’t have much and her kindness just broke me. She loved him as much as we did, she said she wanted to do this one last thing for him 💞
don’t our fur babies just touch everyone!

That's lovely and exactly the sort of thing my DM would do. DH's parents don't really understand how we feel about animals so it means the world to me that she loves mine as much as I do, I love hers like my own too. So sorry for your loss OP, I know how much it hurts

When I lost my first beloved ddog my dad helped me with his cremation costs which made me sob even more than I already was at losing him. 3yrs on and I still remember him telling me that he had paid for it. I'll never forget that
