Fox poo... got the shampoo.. she still smells !

My dog is a serial offender.. Eau de Renard is her favourite perfume and she is an expert at finding it.
Today I got home from a head spinning first day at my new job to be greeting enthusiastically.. with Miss Stinky ..she'd rolled while out with the dog walker!

SHowered with Fox Poo shampoo but despite my best efforts there is still a bit of a whiff about her. She's a double coated VERY fluffy breed.

Can anyone recommend something better?!

Ketchup is meant to be effective

When I lived in USA I was advised by colleagues that any encounter with a skunk could be remedied by washing in tomato juice. Fortunately I never had to try it, but I was grateful for the advice. If it works for a skunk attack...

Another vote for tomato ketchup. I used to have a poo-rolling springer, it's the only thing that worked.

Agreed. Ketchup and then shampoo to get rid of the ketchup smell. Sounds silly but it works!

Ketchup, I used to keep a bottle of the cheapest stuff going especially for when the collie went for her fox poo rolls.

Ketchup. Rub in well. Rinse. Shampoo.

Definitely ketchup works wonders, slightly dyed my Bichon pink but washed out quite quickly.

Yup, my black and white collie turned black and pink after a ketchup treatment but it stopped the stink and she soon returned to normal.

I think the Fox Poo shampoo smells as bad as the actual fox poo 🤢 I’m sure it makes it worse!

Can you get her groomed so her coat is less thick and fluffy - to make it easier in future?

I have some tea tree foaming wash from Superdrug and that works for ours .
