What is the best thing to put in a crate for bedding for an 8 week old puppy?

There seem to be soo many options.

A thick layer of Daily Telegraphs then Vetbed and a fleece throw which came with puppy from the breeder, ditto large soft teddy bear that he snuggles into. The paper is bone dry so he hasn't had an accident in his crate. There's a fleece throw over the top to keep it cosy.

Our 9 week puppy has vet bed and a few fleecy throws and soft toys scattered around his crate.
He is very comfy - loves pulling the throws out of the crate to lie on in the living room floor with, and the vet bed is definitely very cosy and easy to wash/replace.
He is a massive fidget and likes to move around the crate a lot snuggling into the blankets in lots of different positions. You can make a very den-like space in this way and I'm pleased we did this. We'll wait to get a proper bed until he's out of his chewing/destroying phase.

Enjoy your pup! :)
