Our 9 year old cav King Charles has heart failure, with mitral valve disease. She is on diuretics to help her breathing but she keeps peeing usually when she's asleep, she doesn't seem to know she's doing it and is usually dry.
I know this is a side effect of the diuretics and whilst the dosage was reduced to stop the urinating, we've had to up the dose to help her heart.
Has anyone experienced this with their dog and how did you cope with it?
