Car guards - are the cheaper ones ok?

I’ve noticed there are big differences in the price of car dog guards (small car), from £20 - £200.

Are the cheaper ones ok? The dog would never be left alone in the car and is a well trained 2 yr old who likes journeys and is relaxed about car travel.

Thanks.

We have a cheap one - we've had it years.

Aside from the fact that it rattles, it's fine. It kept the dogs contained when we got rear-ended.

Personally I wouldn't get anything too cheap - you want it to stay together in case you get rear-ended in an accident.

Ours was under £20. It's survived two Labradors and a springer spaniel in the mix.

Thanks. Will take a look tomorrow.
