Best things for a puppy with itchy teeth!!

We have a Kong, and a Kong teething stick thing already.

But what else is best for a puppy who we've been warned by the current home is 'very chewy'? They are giving them raw bones but we will struggle with that (v limited freezer space to store such things, and rural area so can't be going out for fresh ones all the time). Are the cured Serrano bones I'm seeing on eBay safe? I want to have a good range of chewy items so there's always something to distract him with if he starts on anything he shouldn't!

Frozen carrot or a strip of wet towel knotted and frozen helped here.

No cured bones - they're generally smoked/cooked and will splinter - only give raw bones.

You can use things like frozen carrots, yakkers chews, pizzle sticks, cows hooves, beef tracheas, beef skin, braided lamb skin etc.

Fallow deer antlers last a good while and they don't stink - which is always a bonus. Reckon they saved me from £100s of damaged furniture.

Fabulous thank you, Yakers on order (they look amazing, never heard of them before) and I've persuaded my youngest to part with the antler he found in the woods Grin will saw it into safe sections later today.

I wouldn't use an antler you've found "wild" as it could be full of nasty parasites.

You can buy treated, clean ones in most pet shops Smile
