Best dog blanket for sofa

Our puppy is not currently allowed on the sofa, despite his best efforts.

I'm happy for him to be on the sofa but want it to be with permission, not him leaping on. I also want to minimise the hair and dog smell.

Do you have dog blankets for the sofa? Ideally I'd like to buy 2 or 3 and wash them regularly.

Is fleece best or something more woolly?

@ErrolTheDragon

That one looks like it turns the sofa into a dog sofa, with a bit of room for a person to sit on the end.Grin
That's the natural order of things once you have a dog, though, isn't it?

Ruff and tumble are great but pricey. We have one on the bed and then one for each sofa. We also take them when we go away so we don’t have to panic about him jumping up on the furniture in holiday cottages etc.
They stay put and wash well.

If you hang them over the line for a day or so before you wash them all the hair drops off. I suppose a good shake outside would do the same but it makes me sneeze and I'm lazy. Blowy up north Grin
Is this the dog or the blanket? 🤣🤣

Definitely the blanket. Although given the amount of hair I hoover up I might start pinning her up :)

Fleece blankets from Dunelm they have a range of colours and dry quick in the wash.
