My 5 mth old shihpoo has bent legs at the front, from the knee down. I don't know if this is a breed thing or a problem? I've googled there's no real answer.

Have vets booked for Monday but I worry every time I look at him.

Hard to say from that photo! but it could well be a shih tzu trait coming through. Many of them (and other Tibetan breeds) were bred to have turned out paws. Don't panic.

Looks like something called 'east-west feet', can be caused by weak pasterns, if you keep his claws trimmed regularly (as this can contribute to splayed out paws) then this is likely to be a genetic issue and can't really be fixed, but there are things you can do to lessen the impact of them - keeping him at a healthy weight (as extra weight on the body will put pressure on the joints) and don't let him jump down from furniture and such.

Some breeds have feet that naturally turn a little bit outwards, always good to get it checked over by a vet though :)
