If you don't have a garden how often do you walk your dog?

What's the earliest/ latest you take your dog out if you don't have a garden?

We have a small garden with fake grass and prefer the dog not to wee there so always take her out. She seems to be able to hold it for 12h with no problem but I'm worried that's not healthy....

When all I had was an insecure communal garden (useless!) I did three walks a day - trip around the block first thing in the morning before going to work, long walk immediately after work, and another trip around the block just before bed (11 ish)

DDog appears to have a bladder of steel - he has quite happily gone 14 hours without going to the loo because he's a lazy git in the mornings and can't be arsed to get out of bed for a wee!

My two year old lab settles down at about seven pm each night and sleeps virtually from then until seven am the next morning. She drinks quite a lot but still isn't bursting when you go in in the morning. That's every day and she's fine.

Our dog easily goes 12 hrs overnight too. He has his last walk arriving home anywhere between 6.30-8.30pm and promptly puts himself to bed. If I try to wake him to toilet before I go to bed he just looks at me as though I'm cruel for waking him and point blank refuses to move!

During the day he has 3 walks and easily goes between these without going in the garden. As the weather gets better and we have the door open he might pop out but he really isn't bothered.

We have a garden, I let Bella out at half nine last night, she couldn't be persuaded to go out until midday today because it's wet and windy out today. That's pretty typical tbh, she just waits until either the weather looks better or she can't wait any longer then she scoots out and comes back as fast as she can

We have a garden but ddog won’t poop in it and did have a phase of refusing to wee too. When he starts going a bit nuts/behaving annoyingly it’s usually hunger or need to toilet (like a toddler) so if he’s has food, we take him round the block. Walks vary from 30 mins with 2 mini walks round the block to a 2 hour walk through forests and hills on weekends. He’s pretty much up for anything but he’s a working cocker. Poos twice a day maximum but wees maybe 4 times (multiple times on a walk but that’s marking rather than needing a wee).

Funnily enough @m0therofdragons our working cocker doesn't like pooing in the garden either! So he has a walk when he's up before I go to work (so from 630am onwards), then dp takes him out for an afternoon walk any time between 2 and 4 and then we do a last wee/poo walk at around 730pm before he goes down for the night at 8

He usually does 2 poos a day - one at the morning walk and then either one in the afternoon or last walk
