How long to see results from raw diet?

My dog is a chihuahua/mini pinscher cross and has been itching for a while.

We’ve tried hypo allergenic dry food, cod liver oil, and some herbal tablets for her, all to no avail.

I started her on a raw diet (Nature’s Menu) on Saturday to see if that helps, does anyone know how soon will we start to see improvements if it is going to help IYSWIM?

I’m not an expert but dpup had solid poo in a week so I’d expect improvement in one week and much better in 2-3 weeks.

We saw it overnight. Honestly.
Saying that he still has cooked treats etc but main meals are raw and although I would quite like to feed him kibble because it would be far cleaner it’s never suited him.

It depends what your dog is allergic to.
If you're still feeding the protein she's allergic to then simply changing the formulation will make no difference.
She needs a check for parasites and a hypoallergenic diet.

Raw is great but you need to know what dog is allergic to. Mine can't have chicken or pork but is fine with turkey, beef, lamb, duck etc.

Have you done elimination to get a feel for what allergies you are dealing with?
