Nature's menu raw food-is it any good?

I got some recently in an emergency as I'd forgotten to stock up and pets at home was open late.

Ddog has probable allergies and we are avoiding chicken and beef as most common allergies. We usually get the big chubs from local pet shop or trays and defrost and chop up.

I have to say the small chunks of nature's menu was s really appealing - quicker to defrost, easier to store. But is it rubbish? I've seen conflicting stuff online.

Their tinned foods/treats/mixer imo are good but I don’t rate their complete raw food.
When I fed raw I used Vince the vet and nutriment completes.
The natures menu to me was a bit watery and didn’t smell as good.

We had a problem with our normal supplier of raw (thistle raw) and used natures menu for 2weeks, there was too much grain in it for our dog and she had an upset tummy. I wouldn’t use it again

Oh, the one I got said grain free?

I'm happy with the quality of raw food we usually get. It's just the storing it in the freezer, defrosting the massive chubs, sawing it into the right sizes etc. The small cubes of nature's menu is so much more convenient.

I used the country hunter nuggets for one of my dogs and he loved it, no problems. It is highly rated on this website www.allaboutdogfood.co.uk

Are you using the Natures Menu True Instinct Raw bites?

We’ve been using it for the last few months for our v fussy 9 month old. She’s finally eating regularly and her poos are great on it. V firm.

They have a 97% score on allaboutdogfood. Is that not good? I didn’t think there was grain in it either. Or is it something else people are talking about?

I think the ‘old’ natures menu complete raw formulas have rice in.
The original cans certainly do.
I’m fairly confident the newer complete raw is grain free.
The newer tins I feed (the country hunter ones) are grain free, the dry food/mixers contain oats
