Best Toy for Westie Puppy?

My DSis has got a gorgeous little Westie puppy who is now about 4 months old. Sadly I am unlikely to get to see her whilst she is still a puppy due to the pandemic which is such a shame as she is the first dog we have had in the family for many years. I wanted to send a little something for my new little furbaby niece for Xmas but I have no clue what is the best/safest toy so wondered if anyone could suggest something?

Here are a couple of photos of the gorgeous girl.

Something that squeaks. Latex or soft toy type, don’t get rubber they can chew bits off & swallow them.
You could pop in a Nylabone to help with teething

She’s gorgeous by the way. How old & name?
I used to keep, breed & show Cairns so almost the same as Westies so used to their preferences, have Skyes now.

Mine really like expensive shoes made from soft leather. The heels are just the right size for small jaws to gnaw. Cheap shoes don’t have such an appealing taste so don’t be tempted to scrimp.

She’s lovely!

My Skyes prefer plant pots & the house walls Hmm

Our 10 lb dog really loves his "lambchop". First thing he heads for. Loves to shake and chase it. It has a squeaker but I have never heard it. I will post a picture.

I promise I have no financial interest in "lambie" as he is nicknamed. The dogs in my family just love him.

A Kong teddy? My miniature doodle carries hers everywhere.
Lickiemats were a big hit.
Cows ears too.
Yak chews (small size).

Ready the reviews on Chewy, my comment is that it is durable. Mind you, our dog is small. But he does shake them and toss. He has the little and medium sizes. I have washed both in the machine no problem.

Thank you so much for all the suggestions everyone. I will be doing a bit of Xmas online shopping today 😀

@Darklane She is gorgeous isn't she. Her name is Maisie and she's around 4 months old now. The Westie personality is really coming out. She's apparently into everything and is fearless. Such a shame we wont get to meet her anytime soon 🥲

My cavalier had this as a puppy (the yellow one) and she still loves it now, at 7.
Beware of toys with knotted string. She managed to get some of the string loose with a couple of those.
