What's your 8mth pups routine (or similar age!)

My pup wakes around 7ish, has breakfast then goes out for a walk about 8.30am. The hour between breakfast and walk is a bit manic as he has so much energy and just wants to play but I'm doing breakfast for the kids and making sure they get out to school on time (any ideas how to keep him entertained would be appreciated!!) He will normally have a couple of hours sleep after the walk and then have another walk later in the day/evening. He is typically awake 2/3 hours between naps but I feel like I'm struggling to entertain him during the day. We play in the house and out in the garden and do some training but i just wondered what others do with their dogs or how often the dogs are in their crate or on their own. I sometimes feel like I don't do enough then there are days when I'm overwhelmed with how time consuming the puppy is 🤦‍♀️

Just dropping in to say I’m interested in what folk say as we have a 5.5mth and already I can see the naps dropping more and I’m worried about juggling working at home with an active puppy. We currently do 20-25min walk in morning on lead urban 8.30-9am and 30-35min walk off lead in fields around 6pm then she sleeps most of the evening. But I do a few garden frisbee games running around sessions with fetch and a few 5min training sessions n skills between conference calls! We do plan to run with her once she’s a year plus as she’s an active breed so the walks aren’t an issue it’s the hours in between I’m not sure about how much interaction is needed?

Ours is just over 8 months now. She gets up about 7.30 for a toilet break, but will then happy snooze on the sofa with us until 8.15, then she has breakfast. Then she has a 30 minute walk, on and off lead - sometimes with play with other dogs if we see any. She will then doze most of the day, gets a bit of attention when my other half pops downstairs for a cup of tea and lunch etc. By 4pm she wants to play. Dinner at 5ish and another similar 30 min walk at 6ish then she just lays down for most the evening sleeping. Twice a week she will go to doggy day care, normally Tues and Thurs - this activeness really helps to keep her calm the days either side

Gets up at 0800, walked for half an hour, sleeps under desk till lunchtime walk, sleeps under desk till mid afternoon. Perhaps sleeps under desk or goes out to run/kennel for a few hours, then walkies, naps, evening training before bed when she seems her most focussed, bed at 2230.

We get up at 7, he has his breakfast and is let outside for a wee etc. Walk is at 9.30am after school drop off. We are usually out for around 2 hours. He will then happily sleep when we get home at around 11.30 am until 2.30 or 3. He has his tea at 5, and he gets another on lead walk at 7 until 7.30 and he's happy snoozing/ dozing for the rest of the night. We do training etc in-between walks when he's awake, and we also do training whilst on walks. I look after my friends dog once a week which he loves, and he also often sees other dogs to play with when we are out, which tires him out alot. The kids like to play football with him after school if the weather is nice, he makes a great goal keeper 🤣 Almost forgot to mention, he is 9 months old
