I've got a whippet called Maggie. Suits her very well.

If I had another I'd go for Nell, Belle, or Linnet, cos Linnet The Whippet.

Liking Willow. If kc registered any official name you can adapt. Have always had lurchery things but mostly rescued so name not our choice. Any name you can use linked to where she comes from? Oh yes forget ..... picture please.

My lovely dog sadly died last week. She was a Heinz57 cross but definitely had something whippet about her. She was from the rescue and we called her Bhuna because she'd been living out of takeaway bins until she came to us.

Bambi is lovely. Left to my own devices though I'd probably call her Mary or Angela.

I heard of one called Kleptomania, Kleptie for short. Thought that very appropriate, if my whippety lurcher anything to go by, and actually rather sweet.

Sorry for the slow reply! We have our lovely Whippet. I don't think Bambi suits her though. I really like the name Scout (from to Kill a Mockingbird and also because scouts are fast and nimble) however my family aren't keen. Willow is a lovely name though....
