Just up late with my welping Bernese.

Hello all, just up late I'm the only one awake so exciting and can't wait to meet the puppies.

I'm really feeling her pain, the panting, licking, pacing, scratching.

For any more experienced breeders I can't get her to settle in her welping box at all, she's a pacer and is up and down and up and down.

At the moment as we have all hard floors she's currently flat out on the cold kitchen floor panting so I'm tempted to leave her.

My question is it ok to move her if she starts elsewhere? Other than shut her into the room with the welping box I don't have any other options? Would you let her just pace for this stage.

I am probably too late with my reply!! But yes, let her do her thing, I just hope the floor is easy to clean Smile Obviously if you get worried at any stage that she might be having difficulties, then call a vet for advice, but she will probably be fine, and you will soon be a very happy and proud Grandmother. Good luck to all of you x
