Washing machine dog hair

Any gadgets or tips on getting it out or collecting it. Currently manually fish out post washing his gear followed by 90degree emoty wash with biological cleaner. Must be an easier way...

Let it dry out completely and then hoover it. Sounds mad but its the only thing I find which gets all the hair out. I do it every few weeks keeps on top of it.

I also found some sachets in B and M bargains that dissolve dog hair, but I can't think what they're called right now 😬

Wear marigold gloves and run your fingers over the inside of the drum and door. Cheap, quick and effective.
My machine never stops long enough to dry, so I’m not so sure about the hoover tip!

Those moorland wash bags are great, I could do with buying another. When i got a new machine I decided to avoid getting it hairy.
I have a rubber broom & mini dustpan set from b&m which is fantastic for hair/fur collection so comes in very handy for jobs like these or brushing off the dog beds (hoover tries to eat it).

I bought a horse blanket wash bag after recommendations on here. It's brilliant and was really cheap.

There is a dissolving product you can buy called Vamoosh

All great suggestions thank you. I vacuum the drier after use but as PP mentioned it's hard to get the washing machine to dry here!! I'll try one of those bags I think and keep my eyes open for the dissolving sachets. All much appreciated.
